These Terms govern your use of the Efneze website, free tools, downloadable software, documentation, and related services. By using our website or tools, you agree to these Terms.

2. Free Tools

Our free tools are provided for technical inspection, debugging, learning, development, testing, and evaluation purposes only. They are not medical devices, clinical decision-support systems, official compliance validators, security tools, legal compliance tools, or substitutes for production validation workflows.

The tools may contain bugs, errors, limitations, incomplete logic, formatting issues, parsing mistakes, validation gaps, inaccurate results, or unsupported edge cases. Outputs, warnings, parsed structures, formatted content, validation messages, and summaries may be incomplete or incorrect.

You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and testing any tool output before relying on it in any production, clinical, operational, legal, security, compliance, or business-critical workflow. Do not rely on the tools as the sole source of truth for data validation, interoperability compliance, clinical interpretation, regulatory compliance, security review, or production readiness.

3. Sensitive Data and Browser-Based Processing

Some Efneze tools are designed to process input in your browser during normal use, and tool input is not intentionally transmitted to Efnezeservers for those tools. However, you should not paste, upload, or submit PHI, production data, credentials, tokens, secrets, connection strings, internal URLs, confidential business data, or other sensitive information unless permitted by your organization's policies and applicable law.

You are responsible for determining whether your use of any tool is appropriate for the data you provide and for following your organization's privacy, security, compliance, and data-handling requirements.

4. Early Access / Beta Software

Some products may be provided as early access or beta software. Beta software may contain bugs, incomplete features, inaccurate output, or behavior that changes in later versions.

5. User Responsibility

  • Users are responsible for deciding what data they paste, upload, open, or process.
  • Users are responsible for ensuring their use complies with their organization's legal, privacy, security, regulatory, and data governance requirements.
  • Users should not use PHI, production, confidential, or sensitive data unless permitted by their organization's policies.

6. Local/Browser Processing Statement

For our free browser tools, processing is designed to run in the user's browser during normal use. Tool input is not intentionally transmitted to Efneze servers during normal browser-based use. However, website analytics, server logs, contact forms, support emails, and other information users choose to provide may still be collected as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. No Professional Advice

The tools and content are for technical and informational purposes only. They do not provide legal, medical, compliance, security, clinical, or financial advice.

8. No Warranty

The website, free tools, software, and documentation are provided "as is" and "as available."Efneze does not guarantee accuracy, completeness, uptime, compatibility, security, or fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Efneze is not responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, business, data-loss, compliance, or production-related damages resulting from the use of the website, tools, or software.

10. Intellectual Property

Efneze owns its website, tools, software, branding, documentation, and content unless otherwise stated. Users may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or redistribute paid software or license keys except as expressly permitted.

11. Third-Party Standards and Trademarks

HL7, FHIR, CCDA, and other standards or trademarks belong to their respective owners. Efneze is not affiliated with or endorsed by those organizations unless explicitly stated.

12. Changes

Efneze may update tools, pages, terms, or policies from time to time. Continued use means acceptance of the updated terms.
